Holland Hall Hotel is a finalist in four different categories at the Lancashire Tourism Awards. Hoping to win the ‘Dog Friendly Business’, ‘Hotel Wedding Venue’ and ‘Resilience and Innovation’ categories, head of weddings Joanne Denton has also been nominated for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award. The ‘Unsung Hero’ award highlights those individuals who are working within tourism and excelling in their role, as recognised by the colleagues and peers that have nominated them. Each finalist has helped create memorable experiences for visitors through their sometimes unseen or unsung actions and deserves to be applauded for their work and commitment.
Vikki Harris, the marketing and partnerships director of Marketing Lancashire, commented: “We are delighted to have such highly-regarded colleagues and individuals in the running for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award. This is a very special category and we hope each of the finalists are proud to have their name associated with the award, which celebrates the finalists’ achievements and their contributions to the industry. Our judges have a difficult task ahead of them in determining the winner, as all of these finalists deserve our thanks and recognition for their hard work.”
Holland Hall Hotel will be hosting a wedding fair on Sunday 3rd March from 12pm to 4pm. It’s the perfect time to see the venue, meet the team and plan your special day. Entry is free and you’ll receive a free glass of fizz on arrival.
