Askham Hall has won the Taste of England Award

Askham Hall has won the Taste of England Award at the Visit England Awards for Excellence. The wedding venue’s Michelin- starred restaurant was one of 48 finalists to make it to the awards, following a rigorous judging process by handpicked tourism industry experts from over 300 eligible local winners.

Richard Swale, the head chef at Askham Hall, said: “We are over the moon with this achievement. The food at Askham Hall is a real passion for our entire team – a complete labour of love.
