Kelly is the lead florist at Dahlia and Dot Florals, which is based in Heaton Moor, Cheshire. “My background and previous profession was in teaching; I was a primary school teacher for 13 years. But after falling pregnant with my daughter, I knew I wanted to do something that always interested me, something where I knew I could create beauty and enjoy what I did every day. So I took the leap, and here I am, working with fabulous couples to make their dream florals a reality.

“Throughout my floral journey, I have worked with other floral designers and wedding creatives that have totally inspired me and ignited my passion for the industry. I can honestly say I’ve never looked back. I adore what I do, and I’m happiest when surrounded by flowers in my studio, creating nature's beauty.

"Establishing connections is an essential part of the process for Dahlia and Dot Florals when working with couples to create their dream florals. From the moment we have our initial consultation to the moment the flowers are received, I endeavour to play an integral part in your wedding journey. I love to offer special touches to couples to ensure they know they can trust me and reply on me to create their floral vision. Something I offer to all brides and grooms is to do a venue visit with them so we can really work together in ensuring every detail is accounted for. It’s important to me to share that vision to ensure we execute each arrangement and detail perfectly.

"We offer bespoke designs for all aspects of wedding floristry, from bridal flowers to small and large venue arrangements. The team and I offer our services across the North West and throughout the UK, and in 2024, we have had some fantastic opportunities to work in various fabulous venues across the country. Some include: Capesthorne Hall, Holmes Mill, Manchester Hall, Dorfold Hall, The Holford Estate, Sefton Park Palm House, St Georges Hall, The Coach House at Soughton Hall and The Oaks Barn.

"I absolutely love having close communication with my brides and grooms and sharing their excitement throughout the planning and designing process. But my ultimate favourite moment has to be seeing the bride’s reaction when you enter the room with her flowers on the wedding morning. It’s a feeling like no other, a feeling that I’d struggle to top!"

Exclusively for Your North West Wedding, Dahlia and Dot Florals are offering couples who book for 2025 and 2026 weddings a discounted package on their bridal flowers. To claim this fabulous offer, email info@dahliaanddotflorals.co.uk and quote ‘YNWW OFFER’.
